SLIME TIME

Slime Time is a stealth-based platformer game I developed along with three of my peers. In the game, the player takes control of a slime creature, the most common RPG enemy, however, in this game he is the hero of the story, and must traverse different levels and avoid evil XP farmers to reach his destination.

The game allows players to hold and pull the mouse to power up a jump ability which is performed once the mouse is released. The slime can also climb up walls, ceilings and all over the place to reach the end of the level.

Because of the short amount of time my team and I had to complete the game, all of the assets used were sourced for free online. This also means that I had more involvement with programming and designing the game, rather than creating the assets. 

For this game, I programmed all the movement mechanics including jumping and sticking to walls, as well as creating an auto-scrolling level for the end of the game.

Whilst creating this project, my team was also tasked with creating promotional material. I created a logo, poster, and a trailer for the game, which can be viewed below.
